What is your cancellation policy?

Plans change, so we offer two booking options at checkout:

Standard — non-refundable. Cancel 24h+ ahead for store credit or a free reschedule (no cash refund).
Flexible Booking (add-on) — cancel 24h+ ahead for a full cash refund to your original payment.
Within 24 hours of your flight: free reschedule only (subject to availability), no refund.

Flexible Booking also lets you take a cash refund if we cancel. The Flexible fee and any car service fees are non-refundable, and it doesn't cover no-shows, late arrivals, or cancellations within 24 hours.
No-shows & late arrivals are non-refundable. We may cancel with no refund if you arrive 15+ minutes late, and refuse boarding for safety (including intoxication).

If we cancel (weather, safety, operational): store credit or a free reschedule — or a cash refund for Flexible Booking guests.

Third-party bookings: if you booked elsewhere (e.g. an online travel platform), their policy applies and changes must go through them.

What if there is inclement weather?

At Helicopter Tours Boston, we prioritize providing exceptional customer service. In the event of inclement weather — such as high winds, low clouds, low visibility, snow, or rain — we will proactively contact you before your scheduled tour. You never need to worry about checking the weather yourself; we'll keep you informed every step of the way. If we cancel your flight for weather, you'll be offered store credit for the full amount or a free reschedule. Guests who added Flexible Booking at checkout may choose a full cash refund instead.

Is there an age restriction?

Over 2 years of age: To ensure the safety of all passengers, we require that children over the age of 2 years have their own seats.

Under 2 years of age: However, children under the age of 2 years may sit on a parent or guardian’s lap if they are considered a lap child.
