FAQ

Do I need a reservation for a helicopter tour?

Yes, we do require reservations for helicopter tours. Depending on the day of the week we may book up a few weeks in advance such as sunset tours and weekend tours.

Are the prices per person?

Yes, all prices are per person, with a minimum of 2 people per booking.

If you want to fly solo you definitely can, you will just have to pay for the 2 seats.

Is there an age restriction?

Yes we require all passengers to be able to sit in a seat without the need of a booster or a child car seat. We recommend that all passengers are at least 5 years or older– mostly because of the noise.

Do we need to tip the pilot?

Tips are the greatly appreciated, but not expected.

What are the weight restrictions?

3 passengers or less: Max 300 lb per seat. Max 600 lb combined with 3 passengers.
4 passengers: No seat limit. Max 600 lb combined weight.

If you exceed these limits, please email or call us so we can find a solution.

I have a party larger than 4 people, can we fly at the same time?

If you have more than 4 people that want to fly together we can definitely get you in the air together.

Usually it will be in different helicopters but you will be able to experience it at the same time.

Just reach out to us by email or call and we can help sort out a time that can get you all in the air at the same time.

Where do you depart from and land?

All our tours are departing and landing from Norwood Memorial Airport – the closest airport to Downtown Boston. Our address is:
125 Access Rd, Norwood, MA 02062

What do we do if there is inclement weather?

In the event of inclement weather (i.e. high winds, low clouds, low visibility, snow or rain) we will contact you prior to your scheduled tour and we can reschedule you for another date and time or give you a full refund.

What are your operating hours?

We are open year-round. Seven days a week, almost 365 days except for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The winter months can be some of the smoothest flying all year. The helicopters are heated so you can enjoy the flights during the winter months.

When does the sunset tour and night tour begin?

It depends on the time of the year. In January the sunset tour begins at 4pm and night tours will start from 5pm. In August the Sunset tours will begin at 7pm and the night tours will start from 8pm.
